Dorothy Clark Rowling, 93, Branford

Dorothy Clark Rowling, 93, of Branford, wife of the late David H. Rowling, died Sept. 30 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Mrs. Rowling was born Sept. 4, 1920 in New Haven to the late Frederick N. and Katherine Lanza Clark.

She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Rowling of East Haven, and Gail Reynolds and her husband William Wheeler of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Dennis Reynolds and Alison Ruy; four great-grandchildren, Alex and Emily Reynolds, and Zaron and Devin Ruy; her sister Audrey Ralph; and her nephew Gordon Ralph.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service Thursday, Oct. 3 at 11 a.m. in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Hamden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405. The W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, Branford, is in charge of arrangements.
