Leroy E. Harris, 88, of Madison, died peacefully Nov. 2. He was a proud World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife Helen (Schrensky) Harris; his children Eleanor and her husband Christopher Nicholson of Madison, Jeffrey Harris of Madison, Matthew Harris and his wife Wendy of Ivoryton, and Stephen Harris and his wife Betsy of Tucson, Arizona; his sisters Arline Gadwah of New Hampshire and Elaine McGahey of Dunellen, Florida; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Marion Lienfelder.
