    Henrietta Jane Kulisch, 75, Cromwell, formerly of North Madison, Killingworth, and Essex

    Henrietta Jane Kulisch, 75, formerly of North Madison, Killingworth, and Essex, died Dec. 3 at Aurora Senior Living Facility in Cromwell. She was born March 19, 1938 in New Haven, a twin to the late Henry Otto and Katherine Mettler Kulisch, Sr.

    Henrietta was a 1956 graduate of Daniel Hand High School in Madison. She went on to nursing school to become an LPN and worked private-duty cases until she retired in the early 1970’s. Henrietta lived in North Madison until 1994, when she moved to Jensen’s Mobile Home Park in Killingworth until 2004. She then resided at Essex Village Manor in Essex until fall of 2006, when she moved to Aurora Senior Living Facility in Cromwell.

    She was an active lifetime member of the Madison Grange before they folded in 2004, and a junior deputy of the Connecticut State Grange. 

    She is survived by her sister-in-law Barbara C. Kulisch; cousins Lanie and her husband Roy Handy of Guilford, Ted Rahmann and his wife Cathy of North Madison, Carlene Kulisch of South Carolina, and Donald Kulisch and his wife Judy of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin brother Henry O. Kulisch, Jr. 

    Burial will be in the spring at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory may be made to VITAS Hospice Care, 628 Hebron Avenue, Suite 300, Glastonbury, CT  06033.
