Sandra Lynn Dotson, 47, of Amarillo, Texas, formerly of East Haven, Clinton, and Branford, died Nov. 21. She was born Jan. 19, 1966 to Paula Dotson of New Haven and Ronnie Dotson of Riverbend, Arkansas.

Sandi will always be remembered for her great sense of humor and her ability to make those around her smile. She was a lover of dogs, an excellent cook, and liked to spend time reading and writing poems. Sandi will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her daughters Carissa Dotson and Jillian Dotson of East Haven; sister Cheryl Guarino Dotson of East Haven; brothers Ronnie and his wife Denise Dotson of East Haven and Bobby and his wife Alena Dotson of Yuba City, California; and nieces and nephews Stephanie, Alexander, Danielle, and Ronnie III.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 21 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 80 Tyler Ave, East Haven. A & D Mortuary, Amarillo, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
