James R. Wark, Jr., 68, of East Haven, husband of the late Kathleen Manning Wark, died Dec. 9 at the St. Raphael Campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital. Jim was a United States Navy veteran of Vietnam, and worked as a carpenter with Union Local 24 for many years before his retirement.

He is survived by his son James S.Wark and his companion Regina Rutushni of Branford; grandchildren Alexandria and James Sean Wark, Jr., of Branford; mother Anna May Johns Wark of Florida; and sister Kathleen Wark Mingione of Florida. He was predeceased by his father James J. Wark, Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial Saturday, Dec. 21 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Interment will be private. There are no calling hours.
