Kathie Elise Leary, 52, of Old Saybrook, died Jan. 1. She was the daughter of the late Robert James Leary and Sandra Jean (Wheeler) Leary.

She is survived by her daughters Meghan Olsson and Heidi Marquis of Old Saybrook. She was predeceased by a son, Mark A. Marquis, Jr.

A memorial will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 4 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 313 Essex Road, Old Saybrook. Donations may be made to The Kathie Leary Memorial Fund at Essex Savings Bank.
