    Muriel Call, 91, East Haven

    Muriel Call, 91, of East Haven, passed away Jan. 29 at the Arden House in Hamden. She was born March 27, 1922 in Halifax, Nova Scotia to Albert and Susan Marquette. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Denise Marquette; and brother Mark Marquette. Muriel is survived by three sons, Mark Call (companion, Kathryn Foley) of Wallingford, Dennis Call (companion Debbie Easton) of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Ronald Call of Plainville; five grandchildren, Theresa Talarico (Joseph), Amanda Call, Brian Call, Mark Call, and Ronald Call (Melanie); and five great-grandchildren.

    Muriel retired from Sergeant Manufacturing Company in 1984, and enjoyed her retirement at Bella Vista in New Haven, where she traveled with her friends, some of them also retirees from Sergeant’s. Muriel was also active in her building’s 315 Club and was president and a reporter for the Bella Vista monthly news.     Family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 4-7 p.m. at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Agnes Cemetery.
