Thomas C. Hooker, 39, of Branford, loving son, brother, and uncle, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 28 at his home. He was born in New Haven on Feb. 1, 1974, son of Creighton and Anne Rock Hooker of Branford and Bonita Springs, Florida.

Tom was a graduate of Branford High School, class of 1992, and attended Roger Williams University and the University of New Haven. He worked for several years in customer service for John Deere.

He loved sports and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Boston Bruins and NASCAR racing. He was an accomplished guitarist and enjoyed building and refurbishing guitars.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Stephen Hooker and his wife Kelley of Guilford; and his niece and nephew Katie and Michael Hooker.

Family and friends are invited to call Monday, Feb. 3 from 4-7 p.m. at Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford. Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
