James Perkins Earle II, 80, of Guilford, husband of 54 years to the late Roberta (Robin) Earle, died Feb. 12. “Jim” was born Jan. 4, 1934 in New Haven to the late Lyon H. Earle and Ruth H. Earle. He worked for the Winchester division of Olin for 22 years; and then he worked in the metal finishing industry. Jim was a member of the Connecticut National Guard 118th Med Battalion, 102nd Infantry, for six years.

He is survived by his children Pamela Earle Clark and her husband Jonathan, Elisabeth Earle and John Hampel, James P. Earle and his wife Sally, Peter F. Earle and his wife Audrey, and Roberta Earle Lawlor and her husband Andrew. He was predeceased by his twin daughters Mary and Martha.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 10 a.m., followed by burial in Westside Cemetery, Three Mile Course, Guilford. Friends may call Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 4-7 p.m. at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford.
