    Harold E. Heser, 93, Clinton

Harold E. Heser, 93, of Liberty St., Clinton, passed away peacefully on May 5 after a brief illness. He was a WWII veteran.

Mr. Heser was a self-employed house painter for many years. He was born in Madison on April 16, 1921, son of the late Louis and Anna Wenger Heser. He was a resident of Clinton most of his life. He loved getting out and cutting wood and working in his garden. To a lot of people he was known as the man on the corner of Liberty St. who sold vegetables and flowers. He was loved by all.

He leaves a son, Craig Heser of Clinton, a grandson Nicholas, and a granddaughter Emily, whom he cherished dearly. He also leaves three brothers, Raymond Heser, Donald Heser and wife Janet, and Arthur Heser and wife MaryLou, all of Clinton, and a host of nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Bennett.

Family and friends are welcome to a celebration of his life May 24 at 1 p.m. at the Clinton Fire House.
