Elizabeth B. Tucker, 92

Branford

Elizabeth B. Tucker, 92, of Branford, passed away May 20 at Branford Hills Health Care Center. She was born in Branford on Feb. 26, 1922 to J. Arthur and Florence (Augur) Bradley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Tucker; granddaughter Andrea Tucker; sister Dorothy Hurd; and brothers Charles and James Bradley. Elizabeth is survived by three sons, Ronald Tucker (Karen) of Clinton, Jonathan Tucker (Elaine) of Branford, and Stephen Tucker of Old Saybrook; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Bradley.

Elizabeth was a very kind and loving person who always put others first. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Branford. She enjoyed genealogy, camping, and country and bluegrass music. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Family and friends were invited to meet and attend a memorial service on May 30 in the First Congregational Church, Branford. Burial was private at Branford Center Cemetery, Branford.
