James P. DaCunto, 27

Guilford

James Paul DaCunto, 27, of Guilford, son of Debra Farace DaCunto and the late Louis P. DaCunto, died May 30 at his home. He was born in New Haven Jan. 20, 1987.

James graduated in 2006 from Guilford High School, at which he played football and lacrosse. He attended Southern Connecticut State University. In his free time he enjoyed riding dirt bikes and rebuilding trucks.

James is survived by his paternal grandmother Phyllis DaCunto. Besides his dad, he was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Paul L. DaCunto and his maternal grandparents Vincent and Mary Farace.
