Edythe Tomon, 101, East Haven

Edythe Tomon, 101, of East Haven, passed away June 11 at Connecticut Hospice. She was born July 15, 1913, in Montpelier, Vermont, to Ernest and Alice (Sanders) Trepto.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ted Tomon, and her brother Raymond Trepto. Edythe is survived by her son Thomas Tomon of East Haven, her dear friend Rose "Bea" Clary of Orange, three nieces, and one nephew.

Edythe was a member of First and Summerfield United Methodist Church in New Haven.

A graveside service was held at 10:45 a.m. on June 17 in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Funeral services were in the care of Clancy Funeral Home, East Haven. For an online obituary, please visit www.ClancyFuneralHome.com.
