Coast Guard rescues stranded boater
Stonington - The Coast Guard rescued a man whose boat was grounded on the rocks in Bartlett's Reef near Stonington early this morning. Victor Smith, 63, of Wilmington, N.C., was sailing to Wilmington from Massachusetts, where he recently purchased the boat, when the vessel's anchor chain broke.
