    Early-morning wreck causes havoc in Groton

    Groton - A Taftville man was arrested early Friday morning after the car accident he was in caused school delays, power outages and road closures in Mystic and Noank.Police said Adam J. Perry, 23, of 39 Sheas Lane, struck a utility pole on Route 1 in the area of Flanders Road.
