Old Lyme - Police arrested a man they said stole $26,000 worth of tires and rims from Corvettes at a local dealership last fall.

According to Old Lyme police, Travone Marquette Franklin, 32, of 169 Eldridge St., Manchester, swiped four sets of tires and rims from four parked 2010 Chevy Corvettes at Callaway Cars Inc.

Franklin was charged Monday with third-degree larceny and will appear in New London Superior Court on May 27.
