Ledyard high school student charged with threatening

Ledyard — Town police arrested Tuesday an 18-year-old high school student who they say threatened to harm himself and other students.

Ryan Donaldson, 18, of 1929 Center Groton Road, was charged with threatening and breach of peace.

Police said at 1:09 p.m. Tuesday they were contacted by the Ledyard High School administration reporting the threat.

Donaldson was held on a $500 bond, pending his arraignment today in New London Superior Court.
