Lyme – Four teenagers were injured when the pickup truck they were riding in crashed into a tree on a forest road in Nehantic State Forest, a spokesman for the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said.
Little information was available late Friday on the 7 p.m. crash.
DEEP spokeswoman Cindy Chanaca said two of the teenagers were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital and two were transported to Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Clinic in Essex. The extent of their injuries was unavailable Friday night.
The Connecticut Environmental Conservation Police is conducting the investigation, Chanaca said.
