Groton Town to host National Night Out

Groton — Groton Town police is hosting its fourth annual National Night Out on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Poquonnock Plains Park at 150 Fort Hill Road.

The event will promote emergency and disaster preparedness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime programs and strengthen neighborhood and police relations.
