Griswold man dies in motorcycle accident

Griswold — A Griswold man was killed Wednesday night after the motorcycle he was riding collided with another vehicle on Route 164 in the area of Burton Road.

State police said Trevor Marttila, 20, of 46 Benton Hill Road, was riding a 2011 Honda CBR motorcycle south on Route 164. A third vehicle, a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, traveling south on Route 164 struck the motorcycle.

Police said that Marttila died at the scene. He was wearing helmet.

All three vehicles were towed from the scene. The accident happened around 8:06 p.m.
