New London police look for suspects in alleged home invasion
New London — Police are looking for two men who allegedly entered a second-floor home on Lee Avenue Tuesday afternoon wearing masks and pistol-whipped a man inside, firing a handgun in the first-floor hallway as they fled.
Police said the home invasion occurred at about 3:40 p.m. The suspects are described as two black men wearing dark clothing.
Police said a 3-year-old child who was in the home at the time was not injured. The victim was given medical treatment at the scene and was taken to a local hospital for a head injury, police said.
