Norwich man charged in stabbing during domestic incident
Norwich — Police arrested a 34-year-old city man in connection with a reported stabbing during a domestic dispute on Sunday night.
Michael Spero, 34, of 62 Hooper St. was charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.
Police said they were dispatched to Spero’s home at 6:49 p.m. Sunday for a report of a stabbing. Arriving officers found the victim suffering from superficial stab wounds. The victim was taken to The William W. Backus Hospital, treated and released, police said.
Spero was arrested at the scene. Free after posting a $100,000 bond, Spero was due to appear Monday in Norwich Superior Court.
