Man seriously injured in Griswold crash

Griswold – A 28-year-old Griswold man was flown by LifeStar helicopter to Hartford Hospital on Wednesday for treatment of injuries sustained in a late night crash.

Justin L. Blades, of 514 Roode Road in Griswold was involved in a 11:17 p.m. accident while traveling west on Roode Road, state police from Troop E in Montville said in a statement.

Blades was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe that ran off the roadway and overturned on its passenger side, police said. A spokesperson from Hartford Hospital was not immediately available to comment on Blades’ condition.
