Police: New London man charged with operating a drug factory
New London — Police on Wednesday afternoon seized 34 grams of crack cocaine/fentanyl mix, drug paraphernalia, $3,480 and a 9mm handgun in a city apartment, according to a Facebook post from the New London Police Department.
Sidney Woodhall-Blake, 24, of 12 Sharaf St., Apt. 3, was charged with operating a drug factory, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of ammunition, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is on probation for a 2019 conviction for possession of narcotics with intent to sell, police said, and police responded to his apartment around 4:21 p.m. to assist Adult Probation with a compliance check.
