Mystic ― A car drove through the front wall of the Somewhere in Time Cafe in Mystic on Sunday afternoon.

Groton Town Police responded to the 1:12 p.m. call and found the vehicle had come to a stop in the middle of the cafe’s dining room. There were several minor injuries, all of which were either treated on scene or at a local hospital.

Old Mystic Fire Department, Mystic Fire Department, L+M Paramedic, Mystic River Ambulance, Stonington Ambulance, Groton Ambulance and North Stonington Ambulance also responded.

Officers were still on scene investigating late Sunday evening. No one has been charged in the incident as Groton Town Police continue their investigation.
