Waterford ― Police say they have identified a suspect in the Oct. 7 armed robbery at the Price Cutter Vape and Smoke Shop.

Police said they developed the suspect in the robbery of the 26 Norwich Road shop in Quaker Hill as part of a multi-agency investigation that involves state and local police and the FBI. The vape shop robbery was one of six armed robberies reported across the region on the same night.

In addition to Waterford, robberies were reported at convenience stores and gas stations in Franklin, Groton, Stonington and Ledyard. Police have said they suspect the robberies were connected.
