Argument in Norwich parking garage ends in stabbing

Norwich ― City police said a Monday night argument in the Thames Plaza parking garage turned physical, leaving one person with a stab wound to the chest.

Anthony J. Monegro, 38, of 440 N. Main St., was charged with second-degree assault around 9:30 p.m. after officers located him and an unnamed victim in the garage, according to police.

The victim was taken to Backus Hospital, police said. The wound was determined not to be life threatening.
