Source Police Incident Report May 12 to 18
The Source publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Madison and Killingworth. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Madison
Wednesday, May 12
• A 25 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 4:22 p.m. and charged with public indecency.
• Theft from a vehicle was reported at 52 Hammonasset Meadows Road at 12:01 p.m.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Richborough Road near Highview Road at 11:18 a.m.
• Theft from a vehicle was reported at 211 Neck Road at 12:41 p.m.
• A fraud complaint was investigated at 885 Boston Post Road at 1:38 p.m.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated on Neck Road at 9:56 p.m.
Thursday, May 13
• A 31 year-old Danbury man was arrested at 7:29 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.
Friday, May 14
• A 20 year-old man of West Sussex Place was arrested on Surf Club Road at 7:26 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle by a person under the legal age to possess liquor.
• Four people were arrested following a month-long investigation into an alleged marijuana sales operation at 55 Nathans Lane. On May 7, Madison Police executed a search and seizure warrant at 55 Nathans Lane. One of Madison's newest police recruits, Gwen, a narcotic detection canine, was used in the search of the premises. Madison Police seized approximately 43 grams of marijuana, an assortment of narcotic pills, drug paraphernalia, and currency. A 20 year-old man of 55 Nathans Lane was charged with sale of marijuana, illegal possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 45 year-old man of the same Nathans Lane address was charged possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. An 18 year-old man of Horse Pond Road was present in the Nathans Lane apartment at the time of a police search and he was charged with for possession of marijuana. A Madison juvenile was arrested following a canine detection search of a motor vehicle parked on the premises of 55 Nathans Lane. Madison Police personnel seized approximately three grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia from the vehicle. The juvenile was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The arrests stem from an investigation by the Madison Police Criminal Investigations Division on the report of the local distribution of marijuana. The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.

• A suspicious person report was investigated on Bishop Lane at Scotland Road at 1:34 p.m.
Saturday, May 15
No arrests were made.
• Broken windows were reported at 56 Sandelwood Drive at
7:17 a.m.
• Criminal mischief on private property was investigated at 26 Sandelwood Drive at 9:14 a.m.
• Theft from a motor vehicle was investigated at 5 Pheasant Lane at 4:46 p.m.
• A fraud complaint was investigated at 330 Bradley Corners Road at 5:15 p.m.
• Illegal cohabitation was investigated on Liberty Street at
10:59 p.m.
Sunday, May 16
No arrests were made and no significant incidents were reported.
Monday, May 17
No arrests were made.
• A fraud complaint was investigated at 1 Orchard Park Road at 8:16 a.m.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated at 57 Dudley Lane at
10:05 a.m.
• The report of a prowler was investigated at 50 Twilight Drive at 11:27 p.m.
Tuesday, May 18
No arrests were made.
• A stray animal was found at 170 Boston Post Road and turned over to the animal control officer at 1:40 p.m.
• The left of license plates was investigated at 191 Boston Post Road at 1:58 p.m.
