• A 35 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 12:53 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and having obstructed marker plates. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond pending a Jan. 1 court date.

• A 27 year-old woman of Ford Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:52 p.m. for improper use of a marker plate, failure to have insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension on Main Street at Boston Post Road.
