The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. • A 28 year-old man of Middletown Avenue in Northford was arrested at 12:37 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and criminal violation of a protective order.

• A 28 year-old Guilford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:20 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was operating a blue 2005 Ford Escape.

• From March 16 to 22 North Branford police also issued three citations to motors for speeding. One citation was issued for each of the following: failure to drive a reasonable distance apart; failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway; having tinted windows without a DMV approval sticker; using a hand-held cell phone while driving; unauthorized colored lights; failure to obey a control signal; failure to have stop lamps; failure to have head lights lit; and failure to renew registration.
