    Guilford Police Incident Report for April 17

    The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names.     • No arrests were made.

    • Public hazard, water over County Road at Durham Road, 2500 block, 2:16 a.m. The Dept. of Transportation placed warning signs in the vicinity.

    • Public hazard, flooding in westbound lane Boston Post Road, 2700 block, 3:05 a.m. Cones were placed around the flooded area.

    • Public hazard, drain clogged, Durham Road flooded at 1200 block, 6:26 a.m. Cones were placed in the area.

    • Public hazard, drain clogged, Jamestown Drive, 6:42 a.m. The drain was cleared, no further hazard noted.

    • Water overflowing onto Long Hill Road, 100 block; 7:13 a.m. Warning signs were placed in the area.

    • An overnight mudslide was reported on Towner Swamp Road, road now covered in rocks, mud and water, 7:33 p.m. The road was found to be passable. The Dept. of Public Works responded to clean the road.

    • A dirt road was reported washed out on Mountain Trail, 9:04 a.m.

    • Breach of peace, involving operators of vehicles in parking lot, Big Y, 830 Boston Post Road, 11:22 a.m.

    • Breach of peace, male customer reportedly urinated all over bathroom, told employee to clean it up and became irate, Chucky’s Mobil, 500 Boston Post Road, 3:39 p.m.

    • Family dispute, late report, Little Meadow Road, 3:41 p.m.

    • Family dispute, Middle Road, 5:36 p.m.

    • Breach of peace, Chucky’s Mobil, 500 Boston Post Road, 10:06 p.m. No other details were provided by police.
