    North Branford Police Incident Report for June 20 and 21

    The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Monday, June 20Tuesday, June 21Senior correspondent Jason J. Marchi compiles the Police Incident Report.

    • An 18 year-old man of Great Oak Road in Northford was arrested at 4 p.m. on a warrant charging him with computer crimes.

    • A 43 year-old man of Brook Lane was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4::36 p.m. for misuse of plate and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was operating a 1993 Jeep.

    • A 31 year-old Killingworth man was arrested at 12:02 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, reckless driving, and engaging an officer in pursuit.

    • From June 15 to 21 North Branford police also issued two citations to motorists for having an obstructed view through the windshield, two citations for traveling unreasonably fast, and two citations for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart. One citation was issued for each of the following: speeding, failure to obey a control signal, failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and using and hand-held cell phone while driving.
