The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. • No arrests were made and no incidents were reported.

• A 38 year-old woman of North Main Street in Ivoryton was arrested at 1:25 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to renew driver’s license, and failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat. She was stopped after the investigation trooper observed the driver not wearing a seat belt. She was released after posting a $500 surety bond and was issued a January 13 court date.
