    East Haven Police Incident Report for April 23 and 24

    The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

    Monday, April 23

    • A 31 year-old Watertown man was arrested at 3:33 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

    • A 36 year-old man of Borrman Road was arrested at 4:21 p.m. and charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, failure to keep a prescription drug in its original container, distracted driving, and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart. He was processed on a $5,000 bond.

    • A 31 year-old man of Wheaton Road was arrested at 5 p.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree and 35 counts of forgery in the third degree. He was processed on a $5,000 bond.

    Tuesday, April 24

    • A 32 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 6:30 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

    • A 33 year-old Norwich man was arrested at 3:30 p.m. at 2 Enterprise Drive and charged with harassment in the second degree. He was processed on a $1,000 bond.

    • A 20 year-old man of Rabbit Rock Road was arrested at 5:40 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.

    • A 49 year-old man of Second Avenue was arrested at 6:51 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility (fleeing the scene on an accident), operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to have insurance, and failure to bring a motor vehicle to a full stop following a motor vehicle accident on Main Street at Thompson Avenue.

    • A 34 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 9:51 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or plead a citation.
