Sunday, April 29

• A 31 year-old North Haven man was arrested at 5:19 p.m. and charged with reckless boating in the second degree.

• A 43 year-old man of Kirkham Street was arrested at 9:40 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and improper use of marker plate.

• A 49 year-old woman of Thimble Island Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:19 a.m. for failure to have insurance and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension.

• A 52 year-old man of Avon Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:48 p.m. for misuse of plate, failure to have insurance, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 36 year-old woman of Elm Street was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:54 p.m. for failure to have insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension.

• A 23 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 11:02 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension and improper use of market plates.

Monday, April 30

• A 34 year-old woman of a Block Island Road apartment was arrested at 7:02 p.m. and charged with breach of peace.

• A 33 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 7:47 p.m. and charged with breach of peace.

• A 33 year-old New Haven woman was issued a citation at 7:47 p.m. for simple trespass.

Tuesday, May 1

• A 23 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 2:40 p.m. on a warrant charging her with two counts of failure to appear in the first degree.

• A 74 year-old man of North Harbor Street was arrested at 11:15 a.m. on a warrant for failure to respond to a citation.

• A 38 year-old man of Foxbridge Village Road was issued a summons at 1:08 a.m. for walking under the influence on a public highway.

• A 23 year-old East Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:54 a.m. for failure to have insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 22 year-old Hamden man, a 20 year-old man of Marshall Drive and a 22 year-old man of Marshall Drive were issued citations at 6:07 p.m. for possession of less than four ounces of marijuana.

• From April 25 to May 1 Branford police also issued 42 citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, 28 citations for using a hand-held cell phone while driving, 18 citations for failure to obey a control signal, 10 citations for failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, four citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, three citations for failure to drive a reasonably distance apart, two citations for failure to obey a stop sign, one citation for passing in a no passing zone, and one citation for failure to have stop lamps.
