    Clinton Police Incident Report for May 18 and 19

    The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

    Friday, May 18

    • A 22 year-old man of Park Drive was arrested at 1:13 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than ½ ounce of marijuana, and failure to drive in the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Killingworth Turnpike.

    Saturday, May 19

    • A 35 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 4:02 a.m. on a warrant charging him with larceny in the third degree (theft from a motor vehicle).

    • A 27 year-old Chester man was arrested at 10:06 a.m. and charged with breach of peace following a dispute on Glenwood Road.

    • A 31 year-old Higganum man was issued a summons at 9:04 p.m. for improper use of registration plates and operating an unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Killingworth Turnpike at Walnut Hill Road.
