    Guilford Police Incident Report for Sept. 1 and 2

    The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for length and content.

    Saturday, Sept. 1

    • No arrests were made.

    • An incident involving minors in possession of liquor was reported at a Boston Street address, 4:17 p.m.

    • Animal nuisance, two pigs running in road, Jennifers Drive, last seen heading toward West Lake Avenue, 6:32 p.m.

    Sunday, Sept. 2

    • A 73 year-old Nortontown Road resident was charged on a warrant with first-degree failure to appear in court.

    • A 34 year-old Fall River, MA resident was charged on a warrant with disorderly conduct and an 18 year-old Fall River, MA resident of the same address was charged on a warrant with disorderly conduct, third-degree strangulation and three counts of third-degree assault.

    • A 19 year-old Peddlers Road resident was charged with possession of controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle without license and fifth-degree larceny.

    • Criminal mischief, vehicle owner believes gas tank tampered with, New England Road.

    • An attempted theft of a jet ski was reported at a Greenwood Lane address.

    • A wallet was reported lost at Village Walk.

    • A theft was reported at a Broad Street address.

    • Family dispute, Guile Road, 3:44 p.m.

    • Noise complaint, loud party, North Madison Road, 7:24 p.m.

    • An animal bite incident was reported at a Mohawk Trail address, 7:42 p.m.

    • Police conducted a firearms search and seizure warrant at a Nortontown Road address.
