    Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for Sept. 12 to 14

    The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

    Wednesday, Sept. 12

    • A 50 year-old man of Sherman Street was arrested at 12:45 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to obey a control signal following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street near Route 1.

    • A 48 year-old man of Chestnut Circle was arrested at 11:49 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the second degree.

    • A 21 year-old Westbrook woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:02 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension following a motor vehicle stop on Plain Road in front of West Marine.

    Thursday, Sept. 13

    • A 48 year-old Newington man was arrested at 7:53 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop on Old Boston Post Road in front of the Actor Library. He was also charged with breach of peace in the second degree following an incident on Knollwood Beach.

    • A 47 year-old woman of a Boston Post Road apartment was arrested at 9:31 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

    • A 43 year-old man of a Boston Post Road apartment was arrested at 11:56 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and traveling unreasonably fast following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 near Chalker Beach Road.

    Friday, Sept. 14

    • No arrests were made.
