    East Lyme

    Derrick R. Helme, 43, of 575 Bank St. Apt 208, New London, was charged Friday with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and driving with a suspended license.

    Jason Matarazzo, 33, of 5 Coult Lane, Old Lyme, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane and traveling unreasonably fast.

    Groton Town

    Ryan Wilson, 32, of 12 S B St., Taftville, was charged Jan. 7 with driving with a suspended license.

    Thomas A. Murphy, 55, of 34 Spring St., New London, was charged Jan. 7 with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license and violation of a protective order.

    Robert G. Gulini, 36, of 1 Crystal Lake Road was charged Dec. 31 with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Brian J. Arcarese, 40, of 190 Ann Ave., Mystic, was charged Dec. 29 with driving with a suspended license and failure to obey a traffic control signal.

    Norwich

    Julio Santiago, 28, of Willimantic, was charged Jan. 10 with driving with a suspended license and driving with a suspended registration.

    Willie D. James, 34, of Middletown, was charged Monday with breach of peace and carrying a facsimile firearm.

    Craig Williams, 59, of 19 Slater Ave., Jewett City, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with a suspended license or registration, failure to carry minimum insurance and passing in a no passing zone.

    State Police ― Montville

    Sheila Hernandez, 31, of Bronx, NY, was charged Tuesday in Montville with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, reckless driving, failure to comply with pass on the right rules and failure to drive in the proper lane.

    Waterford

    Roberto Ortiz, 26, of 520 Ocean Ave., New London, was charged Monday with driving with a suspended license, failure to display reflectorized safety number plates, driving without minimum insurance and misuse of plates.
