1-car crash snarls traffic on I-95 in Old Lyme

Old Lyme — A one-vehicle crash closed the left lane of Interstate 95 south between exits 70 and 69 for about an hour Friday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

DOT officials said the crash happened about 1:10 p.m. At 2:10 p.m., traffic remained significantly backed up in the area.
