New London — Troopers from state police troops E and F searched overnight Tuesday into Wednesday and successfully found a missing city woman.

State police at Troop F in Westbrook said they issued a Silver Alert for 21-year-old Gina Marie Gabinetti after they learned she had been knocking on doors in Old Lyme, but later disappeared.

Police said troopers made contact with Gabinetti via telephone Wednesday morning. She agreed to meet with them and did so on state Route 156 in East Lyme, police said.

Crews took Gabinetti to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
