New London police seek suspect in armed robbery

New London — Police are asking the public to help them identify a man suspected of robbing a package store at gunpoint Wednesday evening.
According to police, the robbery occurred about 7:30 p.m. at The Packy, 915 Bank St.
The clerk said the man had a goatee and probably is in his 20s. He fled on foot after receiving an unspecified amount of cash.
Officers attempted to track the man with a K-9 but were unsuccessful.
