    Police issue Silver Alert for Groton teen

    Groton — Police on Friday said they were seeking an endangered runaway teenager from the town of Groton.

    Police said Payton Kirkland, 15, had been missing since Friday. They described Kirkland as a white male with red hair, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds.

    Police ask anyone with information on Kirkland's whereabouts to contact the Groton Town Police Department at (860) 441-6712.
