Norwich police investigating untimely death

Norwich — Detectives are investigating an untimely death that occurred Thursday in the area of Yantic River Falls, Norwich Police Lt. Christopher Conley said in a news release.
Based on an initial investigation, there is no indication of foul play, police said. The Norwich Police Department and the Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner continue to investigate.
Police on Thursday responded to a report of a dead person around Yantic River Falls. Police did not immediately release the name of the person.
