    New London police recover casings, seek information in shooting

    New London — Police found shell casings but no victims after a shooting near Blackhall and Prest streets about 9:18 p.m. Thursday.

    Police said they canvassed the area after multiple people called 911 to report the gunfire.

    Anyone with information is asked to call police at (860) 447-5269 or to anonymously send information by texting “NLPDTip” plus the information to 847411.

    Comment threads are monitored for 48 hours after publication and then closed.
