Ledyard — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a 16-year-old girl.

Police said Lois Lawson, described as a black female with black hair and brown eyes, has been missing since Wednesday. She's 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds, police said.

Lawson was last seen wearing a brown an LSW T-shirt, a duster sweater, gray sweatpants and moccasins. Her hair is styled in multiple small braids.
