    Three Stonington establishments charged with selling alcohol to minors

    Stonington — Police on Wednesday charged three establishments with selling alcohol to minors as part of a compliance check conducted with the state Liquor Control Division.

    Police said they checked 12 liquor stores, bars and restaurants in town during the evening hours.

    [naviga:li]Windjammer Wine and Spirits, 44 Williams Ave., Mystic: sale of alcohol to a minor[/naviga:li]

    [naviga:li]Talli Angels, 98 W. Broad St.: sale of alcohol to a minor (two counts)[/naviga:li]

    Police referred each case to the Liquor Control Commission for further review.
