Man drowns in Griswold

Griswold — State police said a man drowned Monday in the area of Sheldon Road, which intersects Glasgo Pond and Doaneville Pond.

Troopers from Troop E in Montville responded with emergency medical services to reports of a drowning at 11:05 a.m. A state police spokesman did not identify in which body of water the man drowned. The drowning victim was not immediately identified.
