Norwich police investigating shooting that injured one

Norwich — Police are investigating a Friday night shooting that left one victim with non life-threatening injuries.

Police on Monday said they responded to reports of shots fired at 11 McClellan Ave. about 8:30 p.m. Police said an unidentified gunshot victim, believed to have been targeted by an assailant, was hospitalized for a non-life-threatening wound and is in stable condition.

The police department's detective division asks anyone with information or home surveillance to contact Detective Christopher Hawrylik at (860) 886-5561, ext. 3155, or the tip line at (850) 886-5561, option 4.
