New London police investigate report of gunshots fired
New London — Police are investigating an apparent Wednesday night shooting that occurred in the area of Prest Street and Connecticut Avenue. No injuries were reported.
At approximately 9:39 p.m. Wednesday, police received a call reporting a disturbance with possible gunshots fired. Police quickly arrived at the scene and found a spent bullet casing.
Police said Thursday the investigation remains active and ongoing.
